Tytus made both services first for my grandfather in 2013, and then my grandmother this year personal. My grandmother was Tytus's Sunday school teacher when he was younger. Having that personal aspect and the memories he shared with us at both services gave all of my family comfort in knowing that everything would be done exactly how we wanted it. Cornejo was very thoughtful and caring about preparing the service for my husband. He wanted to be sure everything was the way that we wanted it. He asked several times if there was anything else we wanted. Everyone was extremely pleased with the service

The biggest concerns were being aware of our options and then understanding what the cost was going to be. When we left the planning session we had a full understanding and breakdown. The entire experience was a positive one- at least as positive as that situation can be. I was pleased with the number of options and with all that Cornejo|Day took care of. Tytus and his staff worked hard at making everything as easy for us a possible. There was a great sense of compassion and caring for the family. I very much appreciated all that was done for the family.

Having the viewing before cremation worked out very well. He looked so good. We were able to arrange our own service and were not pressured to do any more.

We were originally concerned about the transportation costs but Tytus had it all included. We really found the bulletins to be great! Other funeral homes I've seen them so small and cheaply done. Not here. I'd recommend Cornejo Day Funeral Home. Great business acumen and friendly!

We were never concerned when mom passed away because Tytus handled our father's service. We were completely pleased with the services. We had horrible icy weather and Tytus, aka Funeral Guy, had the entire parking lot cleaned off. I would recommend their funeral home because they have a kind, caring, patient staff.

I was concerned about getting all the information that was needed together - Tytus made me a form ahead of time that tells me what's needed. I was surprised they took care of so much - Social Security, etc. They were so caring and had a great attitude

You reassured and provided comfort at a time of uncertainty and apprehension. Once the options were presented and chosen, I was more at ease understanding that Tytus would and did handle all arrangements. He allowed me to focus on the other "things" such as the grieving process. I felt comforted knowing that David and I had chose to come in years before and make our arrangements (together)! I felt his approval. Every time I called or went by, Tytus answered all my questions. I had no idea about all the services available. Tytus was very informative about different options. I was able to choose what I needed. The questions I did have were already part of the services (like burying the cremated remains and inscribing the headstone). I was impressed how professional everything was handled including coming to the hospital in a suit. I would recommend Cornejo Day's because we had a very positive, professional, spiritual, inspirational and caring family experience.

We were concerned because the death was sudden and there were no pre-made arrangements. You walked us through the entire process and answered every need. You were even willing to open the urn for a small removal of ashes that was a special request the day before services. The entire experience was comforting and professional. I had no idea where to start. Day Funeral Home made it easy to complete from start to finish. I felt very comforted knowing they took their time and didn't rush. It's a lot to deal with. I was not familiar with the entire arrangement process. Tytus explained it all very well. My dad's was the first funeral I've ever had to do. I never knew how much detail went into it. One concern that we had was the process of coordinating services between two funeral homes as mother was to be transported from Virginia to Kansas. Due to Tytus' help, this was not a problem at all. Our experience was very positive. We especially liked the video tribute you put together. It was beautifully done. It turned out to be a wonderful keepsake for the family and a lovely presentation for mother's viewing. Tytus and his staff were wonderful to work with in all aspects of the process. I wanted my wife's funeral conducted in a reverent manner so it would be a "class act." I had attended a couple of funerals recently that were carried out in an amateurish and slipshod manner and I certainly did not want that. At Day Funeral Home I got a great staff; very nice facility; reasonable costs; by the time everything had been taken care of, I felt as though I had actually become friends with Tytus and Cheryl. I was surprised by how nice everyone was that I dealt with. Tytus, Cheryl and Shirley were all three extremely nice and all were very kind and supportive of me and my family. I made a request that involved extra work and Cheryl went well beyond her normal job to provide me with what I wanted. Another thing that pleased me was the tastefulness of the funeral home itself. It conveyed just the right feeling. Most importantly of all, the tastefulness of the funeral arrangements and the funeral itself. We had many out-of-town relatives in attendance and every single one of them made comments about how nicely everything was done. I certainly would recommend Day Funeral Home. All of my immediate family was very pleased with every aspect of the service.

Day Funeral Home was very patient and kind. I have had to deal with a very large funeral home in Wichita in the past and they were cold and all business. Day Funeral Home took care of everything so well that I didn't have to worry about anything. Before using Day Funeral Home I was concerned about the expenses but Tytus offered a good price range.
